Tech Spec-Point Of Care Testing at LifeBridge Health – Baltimore, Maryland

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Coordinator-Point of Care Testing, this position maintains instrument and reagent inventory, processes data, and reports on all lab testing that occurs outside the department. Assures compliance with all requirements of licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies.

REQUIREMENTS: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Bachelor's degree in Medical Terminologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist. Less than 1 year of experience. MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP). If eligible, must pass ASCP exam within 1 year.
