Intern, Regulatory Affairs (CQR)

Location: Leesburg, VA or Allendale, NJ

Are you an analytical, detail-oriented student interested in the regulatory pathways that bring innovative medical devices to patients worldwide? At VB Spine, our Regulatory Affairs Interns gain hands-on experience supporting regulatory strategy, submissions, and data integrity across the full product lifecycle in a highly regulated medical device environment.

This internship is ideal for students who are curious about global medical device regulations, enjoy working cross-functionally, and want to understand how regulatory strategy supports both innovation and compliance.


What You’ll Do:

  • Work cross-functionally with teams including R&D Engineering, Supplier Quality, Marketing, and Clinical Affairs to support regulatory decision-making
  • Perform Regulatory Intelligence activities to monitor evolving regulations and support efficient, compliant regulatory strategies
  • Assist in preparing regulatory submissions for global product registrations, enabling VB Spine products to reach patients worldwide
  • Shadow Regulatory Affairs Specialists during new product development meetings to gain exposure to the collaborative design and development process
  • Support regulatory projects and initiatives that ensure compliance for both new and existing products
  • Help develop regulatory assessments and change notification strategies to minimize disruption to product registrations or approvals
  • Maintain and evaluate regulatory data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment across systems

What You Bring:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based sponsorship
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability within changing priorities
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment while working collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor

Compensation:
This is a paid internship position with an hourly rate of $30 per hour.

This role is based in Leesburg, VA or Allendale, NJ. While non-local candidates may apply, relocation and housing assistance are not provided, and candidates are responsible for all related expenses.

VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers factors such as experience level, skill set, and market conditions.
