At Centurion Land Title, we’re looking for an Escrow Coordinator for our Carmel, IN office who thrives in a collaborative, customer-focused setting and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient real estate closings. In this role, you’ll be a key player in guiding transactions from title production to closing—ensuring every file is complete, compliant, and on track.

Essential Responsibilities
As an Escrow Coordinator, you’ll play an essential role in the closing process by:
- Supporting the escrow and title teams from file opening to closing
- Preparing files after title production to ensure they’re fully ready for closing
- Gathering and organizing key documentation such as payoffs, judgments, utility bills, and other materials needed to clear title
- Communicating with clients, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and vendors to collect missing information and keep files moving
- Reviewing new orders and maintaining clear, detailed file notes
- Issuing and distributing Closing Protection Letters (CPLs) as required
- Sending title commitments and closing documents accurately and on time
- Sharing complete lender title packages, including CPLs, fee breakdowns, commitments, and wire instructions
- Cross-checking title commitments and purchase agreements for consistency and accuracy
- Performing title curative work to resolve discrepancies and achieve “clear to close” status within five days of commitment
- Ordering and reviewing legal documents such as deeds, powers of attorney, and corporate authorizations
- Entering and tracking critical transaction details in title software (surveys, HOA fees, tax statements, transfer costs, home warranties, etc.)
- Maintaining positive, professional communication with buyers, sellers, agents, attorneys, lenders, and internal team members
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previous experience in real estate, title, or escrow is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with real estate or title software systems.
- A friendly, professional presence and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Experience and Training
- High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
- Prior experience in administrative support, real estate, escrow, or title-related roles is highly desirable.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical Demands:
- Primarily desk-based role with regular computer use.
- Occasional lifting of files or office supplies (up to 20 lbs).
- May require standing or walking during office tasks or meetings.

- Standard office setting with regular in-person attendance.
- Collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Climate-controlled workspaces with standard office equipment.
- Interactions with clients, agents, and internal departments daily.
