ICMS is seeking a Facility Operations Specialist for supporting facility management, project coordination, and operational readiness for AFSFC facilities. This role ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, oversees maintenance activities, and provides project and logistical support to sustain mission effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Facility Inspections & Compliance

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of AFSFC facilities to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify deficiencies and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues through established work order systems.
  • Report safety concerns and unserviceable equipment to the Facility Manager in a timely manner.

Work Order, Data & Planning Support

  • Input, track, and manage facility data and service requests using designated systems.
  • Provide support for Civil Engineering planning and programming activities.
  • Assist in developing project documentation, including Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Performance Work Statements (PWSs).
  • Support market research efforts to aid in cost estimation and project planning.

Project & Construction Support

  • Provide construction surveillance and project management support to ensure work is performed according to scope and standards.
  • Coordinate with working groups and stakeholders to track project progress and ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating special projects as directed by Command Support Staff and the Facility Manager.

Maintenance & Facility Support

  • Perform minor facility repairs and maintenance, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and door hardware; patching and painting walls; and addressing minor plumbing issues.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and move furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Remove debris, trash, and recycling from facilities and coordinate waste collection with appropriate points of contact.

Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accountability and inventory of non-IT assets, including furniture and equipment.
  • Manage key control procedures, ensuring proper issuance, tracking, and security of all keys.
  • Support lifecycle management of government assets, including tracking, maintenance, and upgrades.

Vehicle & Equipment Operations

  • Track vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance schedules to ensure operational readiness.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate minor repairs as authorized.
  • Ensure compliance with all vehicle operation and maintenance policies.

Security & Operational Support

  • Assist military personnel with implementing physical security measures to safeguard government property using efficient and cost-effective practices.
Requirements:
  • Facility Management experience includes perform and document inspections, project scoping and estimating experience, or civil engineering knowledge
  • Valid Texas Class A or B driver’s license required (ability to operate 4x2 and 42–45 passenger buses).
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 60 pounds or more.
  • Capability to move and arrange furniture during inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to safely access and maneuver through vertical roof hatches when required.
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods (up to 4 hours) in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • HAZMAT certification in accordance with OSHA General Industry Standards (#2015 or equivalent) or ability to obtain one.

Security Clearance:

  • Secret clearance required
  • It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards.
