Job Description
Custom Service Hardware is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll help ensure inventory accuracy while supporting receiving, replenishment, shipping, and overall warehouse operations. Your work will play a vital role in maintaining efficient inventory processes and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

This is an active, warehouse-based position that requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, and moving inventory throughout the workday.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming products and accurately stock inventory in designated locations.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies, including quantity and location variances.
- Replenish primary pick locations to support efficient order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
- Process inventory transactions and warehouse documentation accurately and on time.
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping customer orders as business needs require.
- File claims for damaged or defective products and coordinate resolutions.
- Build positive working relationships with suppliers to support quality service and efficient purchasing.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily warehouse operations.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Crosstrain in other warehouse and manufacturing functions and provide support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
- Experience using inventory management software or ERP systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse and distribution center operations.
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work.
- Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train in multiple warehouse functions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and safely operate warehouse equipment.
