About This Position
Position Title: Social Media & Marketing Specialist
Department: Compliance and System Security
Job Purpose: The Social Media & Marketing Specialist leads the development and execution of PCBS’s digital presence and marketing efforts. This role is responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, developing marketing materials, and supporting brand strategy to promote PCBS’s mission, vision, and values. This position plays a key role in storytelling, community engagement, and increasing awareness of services that support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of branding and brand consistency across platforms.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and social media advertising.
- Experience using scheduling and analytics tools such as Buffer.
- Proficiency in content creation including graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Experience in creating marketing materials (print and digital).
- Strong photography skills preferred (videography is a plus).
- Knowledge or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outgoing, creative, and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or after-hours events.
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish, ASL).
- Must possess, maintain, and operate a personal electronic device for the purpose of communication, two-factor authentication, and tracking hours worked.
- Strong branding and storytelling abilities with attention to voice, tone, and consistency.
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to create compelling content including graphics, ads, social posts, and campaigns.
- Experience developing and managing paid ad campaigns across Meta and Google.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and performance metrics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive communication practices.
- Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and marketing performance tracking.

- Develops and executes social media and marketing strategies aligned with PCBS goals.
- Creates and manages high-quality content including graphics, photography, video, and written materials.
- Designs and produces marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, ads, and digital assets.
- Creates and manages paid advertising campaigns (Meta and Google).
- Maintains a consistent brand identity across all platforms and materials.
- Manages content calendar and scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer).
- Manage day-to-day social media operations including posting, monitoring, and engagement.
- Responds to messages and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Build community engagement and brand awareness through creative outreach.
- Stays current on trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Works collaboratively with internal teams and community partners.
- Provides marketing input and support as part of the PCBS Marketing Team.
- Coordinates and captures photography/video for events and programs.
- Assists with Mobile NeuroDiverseCity (NDC) events and other outreach initiatives,
- Attends and supports occasional evening and after-hours events.

Compliance & Communication
- Ensures all communications are accessible and inclusive.
- Maintains compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
- Supports internal communications as needed (newsletter, SharePoint, etc.).
- Attend all meetings and agency functions as required.
- Performs all other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
- Job demands include extended periods of sitting with some periods of standing and walking.
- Will occasionally require lifting up to 25 pounds, kneeling, stooping, crouching, or bending as appropriate.
- Will require periods of driving agency vehicles.
- Office based role with noise from people served, office machines, and telephones.
- Will have substantial use of computers and/or other devices and screens.
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites.
