About This Position
Front Office Supervisor
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Front Office Supervisor
Work location: 800 5th Avenue - Suite 500 Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday, (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Here's What You Need
• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Associate's Degree in Business or healthcare related field (PREFERRED)
• One year of medical practice management or relevant clinic leadership experience (REQUIRED)
What You Will Do
• Assist the Practice Manager by supervising and coordinating front office functions of the clinic. Effectively leads and develops a team of employees including training, development, and employee counseling.
• Manages and/or participates in front office operations to maximize patient satisfaction, patient access, maintenance of medical records, verification of benefits, timely and accurate charge entry, collections of payments and customer service efforts.
• Assists the Practice Manager to implement and manage performance goals and objectives as well as long-term planning.
• Monitors staff's time and attendance consistent with THR policies.
• Assists Practice Manager by ensuring front office staff are current in competencies assessments, licensure, certifications and other annual training.
• Coordinates scheduling of operations to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments and out-of-office calls.
• Ensures work environment complies with regulatory, licensure, compliance and accreditation requirements by monitoring the work setting on an ongoing basis to identify deficiencies, risk and opportunities for improvement.
• Serves as the first point of contact for patient and external customer complaints for front office operational concerns and feedback. Responsible for investigating all complaints relating to front office practice operations and routes privacy and/or compliance complaints/issues. Escalates reoccurring problems as needed.
• Acts as a liaison between the practice and Central Billing Office
• Serves as a Medical Records Custodian. Reviews authorizations and 3 rd party chart review requests for validity. Ensures required Protected Health Information disclosures are tracked.
• Reports all confirmed or suspected privacy breaches, patient complaints regarding privacy to the Entity Safety Officer or Compliance in timely manner. Enforces and monitors corrective action plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
