We are looking for engineers who bring strong technical depth, systems thinking, and a commitment to quality to help build the electrical foundation of nextgeneration fusion systems.
Responsibilities- Own electrical architecture and implementation for assigned subsystems, translating system and control requirements into safe, compliant electrical designs.
- Design and own signal distribution and protection schemes, including grounding, shielding, fault protection, and electrical safety considerations.
- Lead the design of control panels, cabinets, and electrical packaging, with a focus on robustness, serviceability, and scalability.
- Own cable and harness architecture, including interface definition, routing strategy, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain electricalfocused P&IDs and interface diagrams describing power, signal, interlock, and utility interfaces.
- Use P&IDs as a crossdisciplinary communication tool between Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, Safety, and Operations.
- Ensure consistency between P&IDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and control I/O definitions.
- Produce complete, buildready electrical design packages, including P&IDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, ICDs, BOMs, and supporting documentation.
