Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all tooling, tooling components, machining supplies, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the tool room.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on tooling in accordance with established die cleaning checklists and procedures.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of components required for tooling maintenance and repair.
• Repair, replace, modify, and enhance tooling based on work order specifications and instructions.
• Ensure the tool room and all equipment are kept clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
• Accurately document and maintain tooling history and maintenance records.
• Inspect and evaluate new or externally repaired tooling using standard checklists to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Reliable and detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Working knowledge of tool room machinery, equipment, and precision measurement tools.
• Strong sense of accountability for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior machining training or hands-on experience in a tool room or similar environment preferred.
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
