This role is a high-impact, quota-carrying sales position focused on driving new business within U.S. Federal civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies. You will be responsible for positioning advanced cybersecurity and AI-driven simulation capabilities that help organizations strengthen cyber readiness, test defenses, and optimize security performance in complex environments. The role requires deep expertise in federal sales cycles, procurement frameworks, and multi-stakeholder deal navigation. You will operate at the intersection of technology and mission-critical government needs, working closely with technical experts and internal teams to shape winning strategies. This is a highly strategic role for a consultative seller who thrives in complex, long-cycle enterprise and government environments. You will directly influence revenue growth while helping federal organizations modernize their cyber defense capabilities.
- Drive new business development across U.S. Federal civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies by identifying, qualifying, and closing strategic opportunities.
- Build and execute territory and account strategies aligned with federal agency priorities and mission needs.
- Navigate complex federal procurement processes including IDIQs, OTAs, SBIRs, and prime/subcontractor relationships.
- Develop trusted relationships with technical leaders, program stakeholders, and contracting officers to influence buying decisions.
- Manage full sales cycles including pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation, and deal closure using value-based selling approaches.
- Partner closely with solutions architects, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to shape technical and commercial solutions.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and consistent quota attainment.
- Represent the organization in high-stakes discussions, translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value.
- 6+ years of experience selling into U.S. Federal agencies, preferably within cybersecurity, defense, AI, or related technical domains.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in complex federal sales environments.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement mechanisms and contract vehicles.
- Established relationships across federal agencies, DoD, intelligence community, and/or federal systems integrators and contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise or government deals.
- Technical awareness of cybersecurity domains such as threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or risk analysis.
- Strong consultative selling and strategic discovery skills to uncover customer needs and align solutions to mission outcomes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with strong ownership and autonomy.
- Based on the U.S. East Coast with experience working remotely across distributed teams.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $185,000 to $260,000, plus potential annual bonuses tied to performance.
