Registered Nurse - Radiology in Shelbyville, Indiana at Major Hospital

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; directs and guides patient care activities of ancillary personnel as it relates to nursing care. Maintains standards of professional nursing and promotes collaboration among disciplines. Performs duties and responsibilities in a quality manner adhering to all hospital policies and procedures. The Radiology Nurse is responsible for assisting the attending physician in all phases of invasive procedures, which include biopsies, urinary catheterizations, myelograms, and aspirations etc. Will become familiar with and adhere to A.L.A.R.A standards of practice. Recognizes the purpose of the role is to make education, safety and caring for the patient top priority and to put forth the utmost quality as a nurse for Radiology services.
