The Implementation Specialist supports the deployment and configuration of EHR systems, helping practices improve data quality, streamline workflows, and enhance patient outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will manage end-to-end implementation projects, guide stakeholders through change management, and ensure seamless adoption of population health tools. You will collaborate closely with clinical, technical, and administrative teams to align system capabilities with strategic healthcare objectives. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will manage complex implementation projects from initiation through completion while ensuring EHR optimization and data integration support population health and value-based care initiatives. You will work closely with healthcare practices and internal teams to ensure smooth execution, strong adoption, and measurable impact.

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery of EHR configuration, workflow optimization, and tool deployment.
  • Conduct EHR assessments to identify optimization opportunities and improve clinical and operational workflows.
  • Support practices in adopting value-based care models through coaching, training, and change management guidance.
  • Configure and optimize data-sharing systems to ensure accurate reporting, analytics, and quality measurement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design integrations, resolve technical challenges, and ensure effective system interoperability.
  • Deliver structured training sessions and develop educational materials tailored to diverse clinical and administrative audiences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for EHR platforms, supporting best practices, system updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

This position requires strong healthcare implementation experience, deep EHR system knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple client-facing projects in a dynamic environment.

  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare-focused client-facing project management, implementation, or EHR optimization.
  • Experience working with ambulatory EHR systems such as Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, or Greenway.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, data exchange, and value-based care models.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with training, change management, and user adoption strategies.
