Athletic Trainer - Collegiate at Thibodaux Regional Health System – Thibodaux, Louisiana

Responsible for providing preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnoses, therapeutic interventions, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions to athletes and physically active individuals.

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field required.

Skills:
1. Outstanding written and oral communication skills to write business communications, make groups presentations, and effectively impart information at staff meetings.
2. Ability to promote effective collaboration and teamwork among individuals of multiple disciplines and across organizational boundaries.
3. Knowledge of regulatory, reimbursement, legal and policy issues as they relate to effective unit management.
4. Proven ability to establish and maintain physician relations.

Previous Experience:
1. Previous experience in Sports Medicine preferred.

Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:

1. Current licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Louisiana through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners required.
2. Current certification with the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer required.
