SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Physical Therapy Supervisors, provides quality physical therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.

Physical therapist to perform evaluations and treatment in an adult acute care hospital setting. We have a dynamic and experienced team of PT, OT and SLP staff members whose primary focus is on acute care, creating a solid mentoring environment. We have a quarterly rotation system where clinicians are primary to an area of clinical specialty. Our clinical areas include 3 ICUs', orthopedic/trauma, neurological/ stroke/ cancer along with designated telemetry units. Dialysis and general medical surgical units. We work with a multidisciplinary team to manage patients from acute to appropriate discharge levels of care for their condition.

The schedule will be discussed with the applicant and can be either a 5-day work week, with ending time being 6 or 6:30 p.m. or we offer the option for a 4-day work week, 10-hour days, with the end time being 6 or 6:30 p.m. Weekend requirement is 2 weekend days per month. Holiday requirement is 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend annually.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbaland interpersonal communication skills.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: PT (Physical Therapist), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Physical Therapy
