About This Position
Minimum Salary: $40,000 or above based on experience.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.
Job Location: This position will be located at Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.

The Division of Credit Unions charters, oversees, and regulates credit unions in Missouri. This role provides critical administrative and operational support that helps ensure the integrity, stability, and safety of credit union services for Missouri consumers.
Administrative & Communications Support
- Log and distribute incoming mail, monitor general email accounts, and answer/direct phone calls.
- Assist with consumer inquiries and coordinate high-level correspondence that reflects organizational voice and standards.
- Review and refine draft communications for clarity and conciseness.
Reporting & Data Management
- Update, run, and distribute required reports, including semiannual fee reports.
- Maintain paper and digital filing systems and compile regulatory examinations for publication.
Operational Coordination
- Process facility-related requests, including office supplies and equipment needs.
- Assist with travel arrangements and out-of-state travel authorizations.
- Coordinate with IT to update website content.
Executive & Commission Support
- Serve as the central contact for the Division Director.
- Organize, coordinate, and produce meeting minutes for Credit Union Commission meetings.
- Assist with proofreading and distributing the stakeholder newsletter.
Team Collaboration
- Cross-train with staff to support additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; advanced Excel and familiarity with Access are a plus.
- Experience in preparing professional correspondence.
- Ability to craft clear, polished letters and refine drafts for readability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in communications, English, business administration or related fields.
