Aluminum MIG Welder at Fencing Supply Group Acquisition LLC – Elburn, Illinois

Experienced Welder Wanted!

Ideal candidates should have experience in MIG fabrication, specifically with Aluminum. Ability to read precise measurements and calibrate machinery. Must be able to follow fabrication drawings. Must know how to weld prep, make precise cuts, and build a perfect square. Perform uphill, downhill, and flat welds.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-3:30 PM

Pay: $19-$23 an hr DOE

Responsibilities:

• Understanding safety practices and procedures and continually implementing them in the workplace.
• Meet and maintain quality and performance expectations, including productivity, efficiency, and time management, all while maintaining a high-level attention to detail.
• Understanding safety practices and procedures and continually implementing them in the workplace.
• Contribute to maintaining an orderly, clean, safe, and positive work environment.
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• May operate other machinery, such as forklift
• Other duties may be assigned to accommodate the needs of the company and/or shop

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to operate basic hand/air tools, including electric grinders and overhead cranes.
• Can accurately use a tape measure and square.
• Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, layouts, and other work orders/instructions.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Basic Shop math (fractions, measurements)
