REGISTERED NURSE in Auburn, New York at Auburn Community Hospital

Broad Function:

Responsible to the Practice Manager and Physician for performing assigned duties and responsibilities in a primary care office specializing in cardiology. All nurses are assigned to a specific service. This role is vital to ensure quality patient care. Plans and provides nursing care that will be consistent with organizational policies and procedures and with current professional standards and practices. Maintains accurate reports and clinical records. Provides patient and family teaching when appropriate.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Current license to practice in New York State. Minimally five years physician’s office experience with regular EKG duties, phone triage, and daily patient prescription refill experience required.
