GI Endoscopy Technicians perform a wide variety of technical procedures in a hospital and surgery center setting. Under general supervision and according to established procedures, prepares the GI area and patients for procedures. In collaboration with the registered nurse, coordinates necessary procedures for efficient turn-around of procedure rooms. Serves as technical support to physician and nurse in assigned procedure rooms. Patient populations range from adolescents to older adults and an understanding of the age-specific needs of these patients is required.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Health System.
