Job Description
Waterman's, Chix, and The Shack are seeking a skilled and dedicated team member to join our maintenance department. As an in-house repair facility, we handle all cooking, refrigeration, HVAC, and specialty equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems. Responsibilities:
? Diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration & HVAC equipment.
? Collaborate with manufacturers and leadership to resolve challenges efficiently.
? Replace parts, identify issues, recommend upgrades, replace filters, and sanitize equipment.
? Maintain accurate documentation, organization, and safety protocols.
? Preform monthly maintenance on all HVAC/R equipment
? In addition to these responsibilities, you will receive training as a restaurant equipment technician under the lead maintenance technician.
Minimum Qualifications:
? High School diploma or equivalent
? 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical field in HVAC/R
? Valid EPA certification
? Basic hand tools
? Valid driver’s license with a clean record
? Flexibility for on-call rotations (nights/weekends).
? Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
? Certifications - CFESA
? Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment
? Self-driven, independent work style
Physical Requirements:
? Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs.
? Ability to work at heights
? Adaptability to diverse environments
