Our Approach to Seminar Workshop
Seminar at Rocky Mountain Prep prepares juniors and seniors with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to successfully transition to college and career pathways. Through a structured, college-preparatory curriculum and targeted, data-driven interventions, students build critical thinking, goal-setting, and self-advocacy skills essential for long-term success.
Seminar Teachers cultivate a supportive, inclusive environment grounded in PEAK values while partnering closely with the Director of College Access to guide students and families through every step of the college application process.
Seminar Workshop Teachers at Rocky Mountain Prep will...
- Deliver daily Seminar instruction aligned to a college-preparatory curriculum and postsecondary readiness milestones
- Provide targeted interventions in individual and small group settings based on student needs
- Support students and families through the full college application and postsecondary planning process
- Progress monitor student data, document outcomes, and maintain accurate records in a centralized system
- Analyze data to set goals, form intervention groups, and adjust instruction to maximize student growth
- Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and school leaders to support the whole child
- Build strong advising relationships through consistent check-ins, goal setting, and coaching
- Lead Student Care Plan meetings and coordinate supports for students requiring additional intervention
- Provide flexible academic support, which may include time before or after school hours.
All Teachers at Rocky Mountain Prep will:
Take ownership of student outcomes by setting high expectations, using data to guide instruction, and ensuring all scholars grow through strong planning, rigorous teaching, and timely re-teaching. They build inclusive, relationship-centered classrooms by implementing proactive routines, culturally responsive practices, and consistent communication with families. RMP teachers collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and support daily operations to maintain a safe and organized environment. They also model RMP’s PEAK values in all interactions and remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment aligned to our evolving Concept Essence.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (any subject)
Other Requirements
- Within the first year of your employment, you’re required to complete CDE READ Act training or CDE Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) -45 contact hours.
- Pass a background check.
- Demonstrate Eligibility to work in the United States.
- We use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.

Salary
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $63,000 to $89,000, based on experience and qualifications.
