Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt (21-28 hours/week, Monday–Thursday)
OVERVIEWThe First Impressions Coordinator supports the mission of Emmanuel Faith by managing church spaces for ministry use and outside groups while providing a welcoming and hospitable first point of contact for all who engage with the church. This role ensures smooth coordination of campus scheduling, facilities-related processes, and administrative systems that support both internal ministries and external partnerships. Through strong organization and relational engagement, this position helps create an environment where ministry can flourish and people feel seen, known, and cared for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFront Desk & Guest Services- Serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, callers, and guests, offering a warm and helpful first impression.
- Provides accurate information regarding church events, ministries, and services.
- Receives and responds appropriately to prayer requests, memorial inquiries, and general needs.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Manages incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office distributions.
- Oversees lost and found and works to reconnect items with owners.
- Trains and supports volunteers assisting with front desk coverage.
- Provides general administrative and clerical support as needed.
- Manages and supports campus scheduling through approved systems (e.g., eSpace), including adding, editing, and approving events and resources.
- Coordinates with Communications and Planning Calendar teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of event information.
- Supports ministry staff in event planning and execution.
- Serves as the primary liaison for outside group events, including communication, scheduling, and logistics.
- Coordinates with accounting on any contracts, invoices and payments for outside groups.
- Collaborates with Facilities to coordinate room setups, maintenance needs, and event readiness.
- Maintains accurate records and updates within databases and calendars.
- Orders and maintains office and hospitality supplies, including coffee service for the main office.
- Responds appropriately to emergencies in coordination with Facilities and security partners.
- Keeps emergency procedures and contact information current.
- Provides cross-functional support to other departments, including Communications, as needed.
- Participates in staff training and development opportunities.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support ministry effectiveness.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient with computer systems, databases, and scheduling tools.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for computer and administrative tasks.
- Frequent communication in person and via phone.
- Occasional lifting of items (generally up to 20–30 pounds).
- Work environment is typically moderate in noise level with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions or facility-related environments.
