Job Description
EKG Technician
-
Weekend position, every Saturday and Sunday.
-
DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
-
To function at the clinical/clerical level to support the ongoing needs of the department and the patients.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience:
-
EKG experience preferred.
-
Secretarial skills to include typing, filing, and processing multiple files with minimal errors.
-
Good understanding of medical terminology.
-
Excellent interpersonal skills in relating to patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel.
-
Must be CPR certified at the basic provider level.

Education and Training:
-
High school graduate.
-

License, Certification & Registration:
-
CPR
-
-
Other Requirements:
-
Consistent ability to prioritize daily work assignment.

Willingness to participate in educational process.

Availability for variable shift commitments.
