The Opportunity You will serve as a critical revenue leader, driving the growth of a nationally recognized flooring contractor by securing high-value commercial and industrial contracts. This role provides the autonomy to develop your own territory while receiving the full support of an expert estimating and operations team. You will build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers, ensuring Sunflower Industrial remains the preferred choice for performance flooring.
How You Will Make an Impact
Formulate and execute a strategic sales plan to aggressively expand your assigned territory and market share.
Identify and recruit new business opportunities by networking with general contractors, facility managers, and property owners.
Coordinate with estimating departments to ensure all bids are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client specifications.
Negotiate complex contracts and close high-value deals to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
Maintain accurate documentation of your sales pipeline and forecasts within the CRM to ensure project transparency.
Act as the primary field representative for the company, upholding values of service, trust, and professional ownership.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B leadership experience, specifically within construction or industrial sales.
Proven ability to manage a complex sales cycle and close high-stakes deals with minimal oversight.
Advanced knowledge of the local/regional commercial construction market and established industry relationships.
Absolute willingness to travel across the region to conduct job walks and facilitate client meetings.
Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing high-level professional dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Technical training or specialized knowledge in resinous flooring, polished concrete, or control systems.
Demonstrated experience in mentorship or training junior sales team members in a competitive field environment.
