Burke is seeking a Residential Assistant (RA) to provide care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, supporting active treatment programs, and maintaining a safe, structured, and home-like environment.
What You'll Do- Supervise and assist with daily living activities
- Support the Day Programmer in delivering active treatment services
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
- Complete required documentation including activity notes, progress notes, and medication inventory
- Support individuals in developing life skills and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation
- Dependable and able to work varying shifts
- Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Experience in a direct care or residential setting
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Direct care and client support
- Communication and teamwork
- Time management and reliability
- Documentation and attention to detail
- Problem-solving and adaptability
- Weekly schedule varies:
- 2 days: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3 days: 10:30 PM - 9:00 AM
- $25,709 annually
