Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Behavioral Scientist in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of behavioral science, marketing strategy, and applied design, focusing on translating human behavior insights into real-world interventions that drive measurable outcomes. You will work on complex challenges across healthcare and other high-stakes, regulated industries, where understanding motivation, decision-making, and behavioral barriers is essential. The position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and shape behavior change strategies that inform both creative and product-level execution. You will also contribute directly to the development of client-facing materials, ensuring that behavioral insights are clearly communicated and actionable. The environment is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and rooted in evidence-based thinking, with a strong emphasis on turning theory into practical application. This is a fully remote opportunity within the U.S., offering flexibility and the chance to work on impactful, real-world behavioral change initiatives.
- Collaborate with behavioral science and marketing teams to design behavior change interventions across digital healthcare products and multichannel campaigns.
- Develop and refine behavioral strategies that translate audience insights into actionable intervention frameworks.
- Lead the end-to-end behavioral design process, transforming strategy into medium-fidelity mockups, copy, and communication concepts.
- Apply behavioral science principles to healthcare-related challenges, focusing on patient and healthcare professional behaviors, motivations, and barriers.
- Synthesize market research and audience data to inform and strengthen behavioral strategies and recommendations.
- Present behavioral insights, strategies, and design rationale to clients in a clear, structured, and persuasive manner.
- Ensure alignment between behavioral theory, strategic objectives, and creative execution across projects.
- Formal training or academic background in behavioral science or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of applied experience in behavioral science within consulting, marketing, UX, or product design contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to translate behavioral theory into practical, real-world interventions, ideally within healthcare or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of behavior change frameworks and ability to build structured strategies from ambiguous problem statements.
- Experience designing medium-fidelity mockups or communication concepts that visually represent behavioral strategies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or equivalent for wireframing and prototyping.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to build clear, visually compelling, client-ready presentations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex behavioral science concepts to non-expert audiences.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing environment and presenting strategic recommendations.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $65 to $100 per hour, based on experience.
- Flexible, fully remote work within the United States.
- Initial part-time engagement (approximately 10 hours per week) with potential to grow into a longer-term or full-time role.
- Opportunity to work on high-impact behavioral science projects in healthcare and regulated industries.
- Exposure to multidisciplinary teams combining behavioral science, marketing, and design.
- Potential pathway to a long-term retainer or full-time position.
- Collaborative and insight-driven work environment focused on real-world behavior change outcomes.
