This role supports the coordination and implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within a corporate real estate environment, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. You will contribute to maintaining safe, sustainable, and well-managed facilities by working closely with EHS leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. In this role, you will support the execution and coordination of EHS programs across real estate operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local regulations. You will work closely with internal teams and contractors to promote compliance, safety, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation of EHS initiatives in line with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
- Reviewing contractor-submitted EHS plans and risk assessments to ensure compliance and completeness
- Monitoring EHS risks and escalating issues, while recommending mitigation actions
- Assisting with EHS data collection, reporting, and performance tracking
- Analyzing safety metrics and providing insights to improve operational effectiveness
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of EHS processes
- Supporting audits, documentation, and improvement of EHS procedures and tools
- Tracking EHS action items and ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated to grow in the EHS field. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Foundational understanding of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills to assess risk and identify gaps in processes or documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments
