This role sits at the center of top-of-funnel growth, where strategy meets execution to drive meaningful pipeline creation. You will lead and scale a high-performing outbound Business Development team responsible for generating qualified opportunities across key accounts and market segments. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Channel partners, you will shape and optimize programs that directly impact revenue growth. The position blends leadership, operational rigor, and hands-on coaching in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will be responsible for building repeatable outbound motions, improving conversion performance, and ensuring strong pipeline health. This is a highly visible role where your leadership will directly influence sales success and organizational growth.
- Lead, hire, onboard, and develop a team of Business Development Representatives, building a high-performance culture focused on pipeline generation and skill development.
- Coach team members through call reviews, shadowing, feedback sessions, and messaging optimization to continuously improve outbound effectiveness and readiness for future sales roles.
- Design and execute scalable outbound programs across email, phone, LinkedIn, and video, ensuring consistent pipeline contribution.
- Partner with Marketing and Channel teams to build account-based and co-sell motions targeting high-value ICP accounts.
- Own BDR operations, including lead routing, pipeline stages, data quality, and process governance within CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Monitor top-of-funnel performance, analyze funnel conversion metrics, and translate insights into process improvements and experimentation.
- Oversee the BDR tech stack, leveraging tools such as Sales Navigator and other prospecting platforms to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS pipeline generation or business development roles, including at least 2+ years leading BDR or SDR teams.
- Proven track record of building and scaling outbound programs that consistently generate qualified pipeline and meet revenue targets.
- Strong expertise in outbound strategy, ABM-style programs, and modern prospecting methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, and related sales engagement technologies.
- Strong coaching and leadership ability, with experience improving performance through structured feedback and development.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret funnel data and optimize processes based on insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
