Job Description
Large truck dealership looking to hire an entry level Porter/Shop Helper to help clean the shop, assist technicians and perform road tests
Job Description
- General cleaning inside and outside of facility
- Outside Maintenance
- Assisting Technicians
- Eventually performing scheduled maintenance including changing oil, filters, checking lights, tires & greasing, replace or repair light components and perform operations check
- Perform road test on vehicles after repair
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver’s license and pass and Motor Vehicle Record check
- Be able to lift up to 70 lbs., frequently stand, stoop, kneel, crawl, walk, use of fine manipulation skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Computer skills, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Internet Browser
- Must be willing to work weekends, evenings and additional shifts as assigned
- Must be available to willing to adapt
- Must have minimum tools to perform the maintenance and repair work
- Be motivated, proactive, focused and well organized
- Maintain high level of professionalism.
