Department Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at OHSU seeks a per diem Advanced Practice Provider (APP) credentialed and privileged as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the respective specialty area. This position will provide team-based care with OHSU's Ob/Gyn Gynecologic Oncology division, and must have confidence in providing general gynecologic oncology care to patients.

Function/Duties of Position

Clinical

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to gynecologic oncology patients, primarily direct patient care in the ambulatory setting, providing care for gynecologic oncology patients. The spectrum of care includes office procedures, colposcopy, vulvar biopsy, complex dysplasia management, and basic well woman care.
  • Collaborate with multiple OHSU departments in the care of patients, including radiation oncology, surgical oncology, urology, pharmacy, palliative care.
  • Perform procedures such as colposcopy, vulvar biopsy, and basic well woman care.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree as required by specific Advanced Practice Provider role.
  • Current licensure as required by specific Advanced Practice Provider governing board(s) in the state of Oregon.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals.
  • Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting.
  • Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in the work unit.
  • Active Oregon Medical License

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years clinical experience in an oncology specialty
