About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Sandwich Maker to join our team at Carlislie TAFE. In this role, you’ll assist to prepare hot breakfasts and lunches, craft fresh sandwiches, wraps, and rolls, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cold section – sandwiches, wraps, salads

• Assist with kitchen preparation and complete basic cooking

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations

• Work collaboratively to support a positive and efficient kitchen environment

About You

You’re an experienced cook with a strong work ethic and a team-focused attitude. We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced with 2-3years (or more) in a similar role

• Knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene practices

• Willing to assist front of house in peak periods

• Organised, efficient, and methodical in your kitchen approach

• In possession of (or willing to obtain) a Food Handling Certificate and a Current Police Clearance

• A great communicator with strong time management skills

• Available to work Monday to Friday only – no weekends, no public holidays, no school holidays
