This role is structured as a Contract-to-Hire position with a 60-day trial period. Sully.ai maintains an exceptionally high performance bar, and this structure ensures mutual alignment before transitioning to full-time

What You’ll DoOwn multi‑cloud provisioning, upgrading, and reliability of the core platform

Automate everything via infrastructure as code and GitOps

Ship fully automated deployments across regions

Standardize developer experience across areas such as tooling and CI/CD

Optimize our stack’s scalability and maintain cost‑awareness for AI workloads

What You Must BringSenior-level experience & ability in Platform, DevOps, or SRE roles with production Kubernetes across multiple clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), not single‑cloud only.

Proficiency with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code, including ArgoCD and either Terraform or Pulumi.

Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript for platform tooling and automation.

First-Month FocusTake a loosely defined platform challenge, write the requirements, and deliver a working solution

Audit platform, CI/CD, and dev tooling with Eng/Product; remove top blockers

Baseline key metrics (lead time, deploy freq, MTTR, cost per token); draft a Platform Playbook

90 Day OKRs100% infrastructure changes via IaC + GitOps; no console edits

Automated multi‑region deployments across ≥2 clouds; SLOs enforced; MTTR ↓50%

Engineer efficiency up 80–90% on routine workflows; reduced LLM and infra cost
