Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Endocrinology

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to join our Endocrinology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and other hormonal conditions. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and other hormonal conditions. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with endocrine disorders, including taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, providing patient education, and recommending lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities to stay current with advances in endocrinology.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in MA.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by a recognized certifying body (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA).
- Strong clinical skills in managing endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and metabolic bone diseases.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Experience with insulin pump management and continuous glucose monitoring systems.
- Experience in patient education and chronic disease management.
