The Service Expeditor at Neighborly is a guest facing role that plays a critical part in creating a memorable dining experience. Runners do more than deliver food - they actively maintain the dining room, bus/pre-bus tables, anticipate guest needs, and ensure every guest feels cared for throughout their visit. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, observant, proactive, takes pride in a clean and organized space, and enjoys engaging with guests in a genuine and Neighborly way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Deliver food orders to guests with accuracy and care, confirming each order before it is presented and ensuring the food arrives promptly and professionally.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and showtime ready dining room at all times, including clearing and resetting tables, wiping surfaces, managing bus stations, sweeping floors, emptying trash, and completing routine restroom checks.

• Proactively check in with guests throughout their visit, anticipating needs such as utensils, napkins, beverages, sauces, or additional assistance.

• Create a warm, welcoming environment through friendly, genuine interactions that make guests feel noticed and cared for.

• Uphold all company safety, sanitation, and food handling standards to ensure the health and safety of guests and team members.

• Excellent communication and people skills with a friendly, guest focused demeanor

• Sense of urgency and able to work in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

• Able to work flexible hours as necessary

• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day

• Must be able bag/box orders, lift and carry up to 25 lbs

• Previous experience in food service is preferred
