The annual salary range for this position is $48,000.00- $ 52,000.00
Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Assistant Housekeeping Manager for The Henry Hotel in Dearborn, MI.
Job Purpose:Support the Housekeeping Manager by supervising room attendants and ensuring clean, well‑maintained guest rooms that meet Company standards. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through quality, efficiency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise room attendants and ensure timely, high‑quality room cleaningInspect check‑out, stay‑over, VIP, and early make‑up roomsMonitor room status and coordinate priorities with the Front DeskHandle short‑notice room change requestsMaintain inspection records and daily room status reportsPrepare and follow up on maintenance work ordersEnsure linen closets, carts, and equipment are clean and stockedAssist with linen inventory and safety complianceCoordinate with Engineering, Front Desk, and other departmentsTrain and support new housekeeping associatesEnsure all housekeeping policies and quality standards are metTake every opportunity to exceed guest expectations
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalentHospitality experience preferredExperience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt standards a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk most of the workdayLift up to 15 lbs regularly; push/pull carts up to 250 lbs occasionallyFrequent bending, stooping, and reachingProfessional appearance and reliable attendance required
Schedule
- Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays
