About the role:

The Warehouse Associate for Final Mile supports day-to-day warehouse operations related to last mile delivery. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. Key responsibilities include handling packages, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Package Scanning & Processing

• Gather and prepare packages for scanning, ensuring each has a valid barcode or tracking number

• Use handheld scanning devices to capture and record package identifiers

• Verify scanned information in the system and confirm package details, destination, and status

• Communicate relevant package information to team members and supervisors as needed

• Support sorting, routing, and delivery scheduling based on scan results

Receiving & Inspection

• Safely open and inspect incoming packages for damage or hazards using appropriate tools and PPE

• Document any damages for reporting or replacement purposes

• Sort and organize items by type, size, or other relevant criteria

• Update inventory records with item quantities and condition

• Repack items securely when needed for storage or re-shipment

• Dispose of packaging materials in accordance with environmental guidelines

• Keep the work area clean and organized throughout each shift

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication skills for working with team members and warehouse staff

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate recordkeeping

• Basic proficiency in Google Sheets or similar tools is a plus

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks throughout the shift

• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar role is preferred but not required
