Certified Medication Technician in Hagerstown, Maryland at Primecare Medical

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. (i.e., PCM) is a privately owned, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional healthcare practice. We are actively recruiting for a Full-Time Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to work in the medical department at the Washington County Detention Center in Hagerstown, MD.

This full-time position is 36 hours per week. Shift would be 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts a week, and the hours would be 11a-7p or 11a-11p.

Job Responsibilities:

• Initial intake screening on new receptions
• Taking vital signs and completing all appropriate intake forms
• Preparing and maintaining examination and treatment areas for the facility
• Performing daily medication passes.
• Maintaining medication records
• Typing of various reports, letters, and memoranda
• Answering telephone and process calls
• Maintaining the filing system and confidentiality of information at all times
• Following universal precautions at all times
• Maintaining a pleasant working attitude
• Any/all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or delegated

• Hourly Base Rate is $19.50 and we offer Shift Differential in addition.

MDSSL accrues at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours of straight time worked, for a maximum annual accrual of sixty-four (64) hours.

Additional Compensation: In addition to the hourly pay rate PrimeCare Medical also offers Overtime Pay, Shift Differential and Weekend Differential compensation, Premium Holiday Pay, and Employee Referral Bonus opportunities.

(Please note that the pay range is not a sliding scale based on experience; it reflects the base pay as well as the differentials offered between shifts.)

Job Requirements

• Must have completed an approved Certified Medication Technician program.
• Currently hold a Medication Technician Certification valid in the state where the facility is located.
