Support a high-quality employee experience across Allied. As our bilingual Administrator, People, you will play a central role in key moments across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and benefits to day-to-day support. You will manage a broad range of human resources administration, including data management, onboarding coordination, benefits support, metrics reporting and employee inquiries.
This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is motivated by making an impact through detail-oriented work. You will gain hands-on exposure to core HR functions while working closely with an experienced Talent team.
Reporting to the Director, People, you will act as a key point of contact for employees and external partners, supporting core HR programs and national initiatives that reflect Allied’s culture and values.
Responsibilities- Coordinate onboarding, orientation and training programs.
- Provide timely, professional customer service by responding to employee inquiries on behalf of the Talent team.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR matters and draft employment-related letters.
- Coordinate and promote benefits and employee assistance program information sessions.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, retirement savings programs, performance review processes and disability management.
- Organize, maintain and update the HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and employee electronic files.
- Track and report on key HR metrics, including leaves of absence, organizational changes and turnover.
- Support payroll by providing relevant employee information, including leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules.
- Manage Talent-related correspondence with external providers and vendors.
- Update and maintain HR and company policies and procedures.
- Draft internal communications for the Talent team.
- Translate HR communications and presentations into French.
- Support and participate in HR projects and initiatives.
- Act as an ambassador of the company’s culture and values, ensuring the employee experience aligns with the Allied brand.
Post-secondary education in human resources, or a related degree or certificate.
Up to two years of experience in an administrative or human resources role.
Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
An assertive self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience working with an HRIS (ADP Workforce Now in particular) is an asset.
Fluency in both French and English.
Allied determines individual compensation by work location and other factors, including relevant experience, education and internal equity.
