About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead Business Development for our Compliance & Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) Services in the RTP region. This role is ideal for a proven leader who began their career as an engineer in validation/commissioning and advanced into project leadership and regional sales/business development. The right candidate combines deep technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset, capable of driving revenue while serving as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead business development efforts for CQV and compliance services in RTP and surrounding areas.

Build and manage strong client relationships with pharma, biotech, and life sciences organizations.

Leverage engineering background to translate technical project needs into tailored service solutions.

Partner with operations and delivery teams to ensure alignment on client expectations and execution.

Drive growth targets through strategic account management, new client acquisition, and market expansion.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional networks.

Location: Must be based in the RTP, NC area.

Career Path: Clear progression from Sr. Validation Engineer → Sr. Project Manager → Regional/Director role with sales/business development responsibilities.

10+ years’ experience in CQV, validation, or compliance services within pharma/biotech.

Proven success in business development, client relationship management, and sales growth.

Strong technical credibility combined with consultative sales skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

An engineer at heart who grew into a business leader.

Someone with hands-on CQV experience who can talk shop with client technical teams and also close business with executives.
