Job Description
The Nook Kids Captain assists in the responsibility for the event operations of Youth Programming at Spooky Nook Sports. The Nook Kids Captain is responsible for following and implementing lesson plans & activities, assuring the safety and supervision of Nook Days Off, Nook Kids Nights, as well as potentially assisting in Birthday Parties, while having an upbeat & engaging manner.

Essential Job Functions
- Following and implementing lessons plans and activities
- Assuring the safety and supervision of various events and activities
- Assisting in Birthday Parties
- Creating a positive and welcoming environment for parents and children
- Weekend availability
- Evening availability
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience in recreation, childcare, or education
- 16 years of age or older
- Dependable transportation to and from work
- Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
- Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodation as necessary.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Prior experience working with children and/or in coordinating/planning/executing birthday parties is a plus.
- Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality
