Cook in Saline, Michigan at Linden Square Senior Care

Join our team and play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for our senior residents. As a Cook, you'll prepare and serve meals with care, ensuring quality, safety, and presentation standards are met while promoting a welcoming and efficient environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals from our daily menus
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation
• Support residents’ dietary needs and preferences, including therapeutic diets
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high service standards
• Assist with inventory, cost control, and kitchen cleanliness

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a line cook or food service worker (senior living or healthcare a plus)
• Understanding of food safety, portion control, and basic nutrition
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
• A positive attitude and genuine respect for older adults
• Food Handler’s or ServeSafe certification preferred
