LPN - Long Term Care at Ortonville Area Health Services – Ortonville, Minnesota

Fairway View Neighborhoods Long Term Care seeks a Licensed Nurse (LPN) to work direct patient care in many capacities – observing, assessing, passing medications, and documenting information relating to the residents.

Duties Include:

• Makes regular rounds observing resident condition, vital signs, assessing findings, planning resident nursing care, and recording pertinent information
• Accurately administers medications and treatment as prescribed by the physician. Instructs residents on their treatments and medications to promote resident understanding and continuity of care. • Provides necessary support to nursing assistants to ensure they are able to perform their work. Supervises care given by nursing assistants.
• Gives report of pertinent information to the next shift coming on duty. Keeps DON and Care Coordinators updated on resident status
• Serves as a role model for other nursing personnel.

Hours and Pay:

• PRN or As Needed shift schedule
• Day (6am - 2:30pm), Evening (2pm - 10:30pm) or Overnight (10:15pm - 6:15am) shifts available
• Eligible for evening ($1.50) and night ($3.00) shift differentials
• Retirement with employer match
• Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in MN.
