Core Impact Areas:

Student-Athlete Development

  • Design evidence-based injury prevention programs
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments
  • Create individualized strength and conditioning plans
  • Implement nutrition and wellness education initiatives

Medical Management

  • Provide immediate sideline care and injury evaluation
  • Develop and oversee rehabilitation programs
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers for continuity of care
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation and injury reports

Program Leadership

  • Collaborate with coaching staff to optimize training methods
  • Educate athletes, parents, and coaches on sports safety
  • Manage athletic training facilities and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with UIL regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related (Master's preferred)
  • 3–5 years athletic training experience
  • BOC certification and Texas licensure
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Spanish bilingual preferred
