As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with timely and effective assistance through chat. You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong problem-solving ability, and a passion for helping others.


Responsibilities:


  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support via live chat in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist customers with product-related questions, troubleshooting, and account issues.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively address customer concerns.
  • Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to management for process improvement.
  • Stay updated on company products, services, promotions, and policies.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or chat support is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and empathy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Proficient in using chat support software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers.

The pay range for this role is:
27 - 35 USD per hour(Remote (Alexandria, Virginia, US))
