About This Position
Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives on keeping projects moving smoothly? We’re looking for a Electrical Operations Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the reliable delivery of electrical service to our members. In this role, you’ll coordinate schedules, manage resources and contractors, and ensure data accuracy across multiple systems. This position also responds to emergency and trouble work and provides support during storm recovery.
The expected hiring range is between $32.30 - $42.40 hourly. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% based on company performance.
In this position, you will:
- Develop and manage daily and long-term construction schedules.
- Assign crews and coordinate capital, system, and road projects.
- Support emergency response and storm recovery efforts.
- Resolve scheduling obstacles to reduce crew downtime.
- Oversee joint trench, subcontractor work, and member appointments.
- Manage work orders and GSOC tickets to ensure timely completion and accurate follow-up.
- Assign and manage capital and expense work orders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Support Asset Management with updates and documentation.
Need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or relevant work experience.
- Minimum two years’ experience in construction or design
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and equipment (knowledge of system design principles, construction standards, electrical connectivity, and equipment characteristics)
- Knowledge of distribution equipment function, operation, settings
Nice to have:
- Project management certificate or experience desired
