About This Position

Rover Job Description: Hourly + TIPS
A Rover is a server/runner/busser who have stellar personalities, understand that the guest is the most important person, and ensure guests receive an unparalleled experience by providing fast, friendly service while being attentive to the guests’ needs.
Primary Responsibilities
• Take orders, delivers drink/food quickly and accurately and assists guests with anything they request.
• Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Communicate with the team and managers to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensures the cleanliness of every table, chair, highchair, and booster in the facility.
• Knows and complies consistently with our quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
• Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
• Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to help guests make informed choices.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests from guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
• Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to guests, team, and managers.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks during busy service periods.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences for customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus, as well as experience with sales techniques to enhance upselling opportunities.
