Dish & Linen Processor at Millers Party Rental Center Inc – Akron, Ohio

We’re looking to add a few good people to our Dish and Linen Department at Miller’s Party Rental Center in Akron, Ohio. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity, and you’d be part of a small, tight-knit crew at a 76-year-old, family-owned business that’s all about making events memorable—and taking care of our team while we do it.

This isn’t corporate. It’s not sterile or soul-crushing. It’s a place where people know your name, your dog’s name, and how you take your coffee. Sure, there are fast-paced days (especially during wedding season), but there are also laid-back ones where the speakers are on and the team just flows.

Position Details:
You’ll work in our processing areas, handling the dishes and linens that go out to events. That includes:

• Loading and unloading commercial linen washers and dryers

• Pressing and folding tablecloths and napkins

• Hand-washing, inspecting, and racking dishes, glassware, and flatware

• Wrapping, storing, and prepping clean items for the next rental

• Keeping things clean, organized, and moving

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Lunch: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM (Unpaid 30-minute break)
Total Paid Hours per Day: 7.5 hours

Monday – Friday:

Regular shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

30-minute lunch at 12:30 PM

Saturday (Rotating):

Optional/Assigned based on schedule rotation

Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

No lunch break (4-hour shift)

Sunday:

Closed (no scheduled shifts)
