From day one and throughout the team members' time at Chick-fil-A, they receive hands-on training. We enjoy promoting from within, so there are opportunities for advancement into leadership positions.

Team Members must be willing to Open or Close at least 3 days per week and work on Saturdays and Holidays. Opening shifts start at 6am. Closing shifts work until about 12:30am.

Some of the duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:

• Courteously greeting each guest every day.
• Treating all guests and fellow team members with honor, dignity, and respect.
• Taking guests' orders on a touchscreen, computer-based cash register.
• Standing for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) and maneuvering in tight spaces.
• Bending, climbing, and twisting at the waist to grasp and control items with your fingers and hands.
• Read and understand English fluently to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors, as well as recognize and count U.S. currency, make change, and memorize product descriptions.
• Stocking products and supplies, including, but not limited to, unloading of delivery trucks, lifting, and retrieving items that may weigh up to 50 pounds, and transporting wheeled carts carrying several hundred pounds.
• Ability to comply with all portion control, quality standards, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to prepare food items for cooking and assembling, including raw chicken, fruits and vegetables, soups, and breads, as well as monitor temperature gauges and manipulate utensils used for chopping, slicing, and juicing.
• Possess, or ability to possess, a California Food Handlers Certification.
• Following all of Chick-fil-A’s uniform policies.
