Construction Management Internship at Quality Enterprises USA – Naples, Florida

Quality Enterprises is looking for an intern to join our team for a structured, three-month rotational internship. This program provides hands-on exposure to the core areas of construction management, including Field Operations, Estimating, and Project Management. The intern will gain valuable industry experience by working alongside superintendents, project managers, and estimating professionals, preparing them for a successful career in construction.

Essential Responsibilities:

Month 1 – Field Operations

Gain practical, on-site experience while shadowing and assisting superintendents.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in hands-on field activities and shadow superintendent tasks
2. Assist with daily team coordination and workforce management
3. Support communication with engineering partners and subcontractors
4. Maintain accurate and detailed field reports

Month 2 – Estimating

Learn the fundamentals of project planning and cost estimating.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop familiarity with estimating software, tools, and industry terminology
2. Assist in asset and resource planning
3. Contribute to the creation of preliminary project plans and budgets

Month 3 – Project Management

Experience the responsibilities and challenges of managing active projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Support communications with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
2. Assist with scheduling and project milestone tracking
3. Monitor project deliverables to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
4. Participate in planning and coordinating vendor meetings

Qualifications:

1. Current student or recent graduate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
2. Strong communication and organizational skills
3. Interest in pursuing a career in construction or project management
4. Ability to work collaboratively in both office and field environments

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

1. Internship will involve both office-based and field-based work.
2. Field assignments may require exposure to outdoor environments, varying weather conditions, and active construction sites.
3. Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate construction sites safely for extended periods.
4. Safety equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety vest, protective eyewear) will be provided and must be worn when required.
5. Office work will involve standard computer use, including estimating software, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
