The Program Manager is responsible for the execution of Field Operations Administration, supporting network build and install activities and metrics reporting. This role will be instrumental in tracking, cleaning and reporting on the end-to-end activities of field operations. This position is highly engaged in modernizing legacy processes and collaborating with supporting teams from various departments in the business.
This position reports to the Head of PMO & Construction Strategy.
Responsibilities are as follows:
• Ensuring efficiencies and quality of all field work.
• Collaborating with supporting teams to ensure end to end execution of network build
activities
• Leading and developing team to reach and exceed company objectives.
• Develop, track and report on key metrics and results on a regular cadence (Daily,
weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual)
• Support capital spend efficiency programs and budget optimization
Qualifications:
• Good understanding of the network and how it operates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lead a team successfully.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other leaders and teams
Skills:
• Demonstrable experience in project management
• Post-secondary education or certification in business administration, commerce,
project management or equivalent combination of education/experience is an asset
• Deep understanding of infrastructure construction operations and processes
• Experience in managing multiple programs and priorities across wide geography
• Experience in managing both internal and external resources
• Experience in budget management, and establishing and providing regular reporting
on various key metrics, including cost/timeline/penetration vs. plan while reforecasting
as required
• Demonstrable high level of professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, and comfortable
presenting to audiences
• Ability to negotiate and influence with cross functional teams and external vendors
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Be comfortable in high pressure situations and meeting short deadlines
• Highly efficient time management skills
• Ability to collaborate as a team player and work independently
• Experience in Microsoft Project or other similar software is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
Working conditions:
• Working in an office environment
• Ability to work overtime as workload requires and be on-call
• Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
