Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) is a non-profit organization and one of the largest Hispanic Community Development Corporations in the United States. The organization began with a group of student and community activists in 1967, and was incorporated and received non-profit status in 1969 to fight discrimination against the Mexican American community. Inspired by Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez, we advocated for equity in education, politics, and labor conditions. Today, CPLC provides services to people of all backgrounds while honoring our Mexican-American roots.

This is a remote position however candidates should be located in AZ to come to the office as needed.

SPECIALIZATIONS

The Human Resources Trainer will:

  • Develop and facilitate HR-specific leadership training programs to mitigate organizational risk and enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensure that leadership training aligns with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Partner with HR teams to implement training solutions that support compliance, talent development, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Leverage data-driven training strategies to measure and enhance program effectiveness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education/Background:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration or Human Resources and two years of experience in HR related training and development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources and four years of experience in HR related training and development
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources and six years of experience in HR related training and development
  • Equivalent experience in HR-related training and development will be considered.
  • Proficiency with Office 365, LMS platforms, HRIS platforms, and content development platforms.

Other Requirements

  • Candidate must pass all applicable background checks to work with children’s programs, including National FBI criminal background check and State repository check results (for all jurisdictions lived in for the past 5 years)
  • Maintain and complete a TB test and receive a TDAP vaccination
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
